Dean Raasch

Dean Derwin Raasch, 79, of Beemer, NE died September 15, 2023. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Beemer, NE with Pastor Mike Belinsky officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Minnick Funeral Home in West Point, NE is assisting with the arrangements.
Dean was born in Oakland, CA on October 8, 1944 to the parents of Adolph Carl Raasch and Alma Marie Hass where Adolph was a carpenter at the Alameda Air Base.
Dean graduated from Beemer Public High school in 1962. He then worked as a carpenter at the Beemer Lumber Company then going on to work for himself as Raasch Construction. Dean resided in Beemer, NE, Kearney, NE, and Phoenix, AZ and recently moved back to Beemer in 2022.
Dean was married to Cora Lierman and then later divorced.
Dean is survived by Daughter ReGina Lynn Evans and Granddaughters Elise Aryn Evans and Adiah Lynn Evans who live in Minnesota.
Dean is also survived by siblings Sister Elgene Hunke and Brother Terry Raasch.
Dean is preceded in death by Sisters Berdina Raasch, Ivaloh Cooper, Orphia Ackerman, Vernel Petz, and Brothers Adolph Raasch Jr., Lyle Raasch, Clifford Raasch, Harland Raasch and Dallas Raasch.
Dean enjoyed fishing, golfing and cooking.
