Dean Ross Obituary
Dean Edward "Deano" Ross, age 70, passed away peacefully at his home on March 2, 2026.
He was born March 18, 1955, to the late Rodney and Dorothy (May) Ross in Council Bluffs, IA. Dean graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. He attended both Iowa State University and graduated from University of Omaha. Dean retired from OPPD.
Dean is survived by his siblings, Bruce Ross, Lorie Marr, Linda Jacobs (Stuart), and Kim Root (Todd); nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; a host of other family and really great friends.
Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7, 2026, followed by a celebration of his life in the community room at Hoy Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials in Dean's honor.
