Dean Sims Obituary
Dean is survived by twin-brother Richard Keyston Sims of Fairfield, Iowa, his sister Demi Marie Sims of Malo, Washington. He is preceded in death by his brother Donald Williams Sims of Clear Lake, California.
Dean was born on June 22, 1948 in San Francisco, California to parents Antoinette 'Toni' (Nee: Graul) and Richard Sims. Dean attended George Washington High and graduated from San Francisco City College in 1968 with a degree in business. In 1975, he moved to Marin County and accepted a position as a retail food manager at Safeway, where he worked for more than 40 years.
The family would like to thank all of Dean's Safeway friends and associates, Marcella and all of Dean's friends at Koco's Pub. A special thanks to Dean's extended family at Walker One and Good Samaritan Hosptial Dialysis units, and all of Dean's friends and neighbors in Lauraville.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 11:30-2:30 at the Clifton Pleasure Club, 2803 Grindon Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21214.
