Dean was born on April 9, 1977, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Walter “Willie” and Elizabeth “Betsy” (Wall) Wubben. He graduated from Southwestern High School in 1995 and earned his Business Administration Degree from UW-Platteville. During college, he worked at A.Y. McDonald. Dean couldn’t part with anything and found meaning in all things related to family. He purchased his family home, allowing him to care for and spend more time with his mom who he checked on daily, sometimes twice a day. Dean and Darci often traveled, including trips to Iceland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Canada, and Oregon. Dean often traveled to Asia for work. Closer to home, Dean enjoyed going to wineries with his Mom and Darci. He was an avid weight lifter who enjoyed spending time with his weight lifting friends. Dean loved listening to Aaron Lewis, Cody Jinks and Larry Fleet. His favorite songs were “Where I Find God” and “Everybody Talks to God”. Dean appreciated his Sunday naps and loved his cats, Molly and Luke.
