Dean A. Youngs

Dean A. Youngs, 60, of Sherbune, NY. passed away unexpectedly at Norwich Rehabilitation & Nursing Center on February 8, 2026. Born on June 7th, 1965.

Dean was the son of Floyd Youngs & Linda Youngs.

Dean graduated from Norwich High School in 1983 & went on to spend most of his life working as a logger, alongside Art Gager + Leroy Diamond. Known for his Strong Work ethic & willingness to lend a hand. Dean later followed his childhood passion & became an electrician, working for 12 years with Charlie Brooks at Brooks Electric. Over the years, he abo became known as a skilled handyman, always ready to help anyone in need.

In his younger years, Dean loved hunting and fishing. As time went on, you could often find him relaxing with a cold beer, watching football or Nascar, cheering on his favorite team & driver, NY Giants & Dale Earnhardt. When he wasnt doing that, Dean enjoyed being in the woods, camping, sitting around a bonfire, spending time with his friends & family. Everyone loved Dean in their own special way.

Dean met the love of his life, Trish "Bug" Brazee, in 1985. They married on October 3, 1987, and Shared 41 years together, 39 of them in marriage. Together they had 2 sons, Matthew & Chad. Dean also had a daughter, Ashley, with Terri Aikins.

Dean was a proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren, Kyle, Jacob, Abigail, Presley, Parker, August, Colbii, Ryian, Matilyn, Rylee.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Youngs. His 2 brothers, Dennis (Janice) Youngs + Mark (Sherry) Youngs. He had nieces Molly, megan, Alyssa, Jenna (Predeceased) & a nephew Adam (Predeceased). His brother-in-law's, James, Chris, Rich, Randy. His sister in law's Waneta, Kim, Wendi & Lori. Dean also leaves behind many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Floyd, his Uncle Buck, Aunt Sandy, Father-in-law Jesse, Sister in-law Stacie, and his very best friend+ partner in crime, Joe Hazzard.

Calling hours will be held at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, Sherburne, on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 2-4pm with a brief prayer service following at 4pm.
