Deana Baker Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Peck Funeral Home - Hartselle from Jun. 18 to Jun. 27, 2025.
A Graveside Service and Interment will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton, KY. The family will also have a Chapel service at Peck Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 19th at 6:00 PM, with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating. There is a visitation time prior from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Deana Ruth Branham, born in Lenoir City, Tennessee, passed away on June 16, 2025.
She was a woman whose presence could never be ignored-fiercely strong-willed, deeply loving, and steadfast in every decision she made. Her personality was something to be reckoned with, and she never once apologized for being exactly who she was.
Family was everything to Deana second only to her unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Deana and her husband Ronnie were married for a total of 57 years She loved her husband, children, and grandchildren endlessly.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Ronnie Baker, three sons- Harold Shane Perkins, Jonathan Lee Baker, and Jesse Paul Baker (Jessica), Grandchildren - Brea Baker Allison (Connor), Link Baker, Jessica Puckett (Jarred), and Mason Perkins, Six Great Grandchildren, two sisters- Carolyn Summerford (Doug), and Bonnie Staudt (Billy), and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents- Nellie Ruth Defoe Branham and Harold Preston Branham, a brother- Howard Preston Branham and a sister- Mary Alice Pollock.
Anyone who knew her knew that her door-and her kitchen-were always open, especially during her favorite time of year: Christmas.
No one lit up over Santa Claus quite like she did, and no gathering was complete without her warmth, her laughter, and her unique spark.
She was also an avid volunteer for Helping Hands Ministry, Feeding Families, and was a motivated Cub Scout leader. Her most favorite place to spend time among friends and family was at her place of worship Soul Harbor Baptist Church.
In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting the most: many of the items she made included baby blankets and prayer cloths and she was always especially happy to give what she made to anyone that needed it.
Serving as pallbearers will be Connor Allison, Bonnie Staudt, Dustin McNutt, Brea Allison, Link Baker, and Thomas Kirby.
To know Deana was to know strength, loyalty, and love in its boldest form. Though she has left this world, the love she gave and the legacy she built through her faith and family will live on in each of us.
