Deana Chenail

Deana Wright Chenail, born on January 3, 1969, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025, at the age of 56. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Deana touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and boundless love. She was the cherished mother of Shawna Botticello and Richard Weinle III, and their spouses Ryan Botticello and Monica Weinle. She was the proud grandmother of Jayce and Arianna Botticello as well as Richard IV and Andi Weinle, whose lives she brightened with her gentle spirit.
Deana's heart was large enough to encompass not only her family but also her adored dogs, Cece, Gus, and Odie, who were an inseparable part of her daily life. She spent her last years surrounded by the love and companionship of her dear cousin, Dean Morrissey, who was a constant presence and support.
Deana's siblings-Cheryl Newton (married to James Newton), Susan Doherty(married to James Doherty), Debra Atkins (married to Daniel Atkins), and Leigh Pizzoferrato (married to Marco Pizzoferrato)-were among her closest confidantes, and she deeply treasured the bonds she shared with each of them. She also held her nieces and nephews in the highest regard, loving them as though they were her own.
A woman of great talent and creativity, Deana was widely known for her exceptional hairdressing skills, which she used to make others feel beautiful both inside and out. She had an artistic soul, and her passion for creating art was a reflection of her beauty, which was as radiant as it was indescribable. Her spare time was spent caring for her beloved dogs, connecting with her spiritual side, and enjoying precious moments with her family, all of whom were the center of her world.
Deana was more than a mother, sister, and friend-she was a beautiful soul whose love and light will forever be felt. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and artistry that will continue to inspire and guide those who were lucky enough to know her.
Family will receive friends and relatives at Rose Hill Funeral Home at 580 Elm Street in Rocky Hill CT, 06067 on January 26th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in honor of Deana's enduring kindness and spirit. Her Funeral Services will be private on January 27th.
She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
