Richard Chenail Obituary
Putnam – Richard B. Chenail, II, 63, of Sabin St., died Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Originally from Moosup, he was the son of Richard B. and Marlene (Maggia) Chenail of Brooklyn.
He worked for many years as the supervisor of bingo operations at Foxwoods Resort and Casino. In Richard's spare time he enjoyed gardening, and was passionate about animals.
He is survived by his parents; his siblings, Donna Arpin and her husband Gary of Moosup, Ann Marie Chenail of Brooklyn, and Gregory Chenail of Los Angeles, CA; two nieces and a nephew.
A private graveside service was held at All Hallows Cemetery in Moosup. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Gilman Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Church Street, Putnam CT 06260. For memorial guestbook visit www.GilmanAndValade.com.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Richard's passing. My husband and I truly enjoyed his company and I will miss his devilish grin and how he made us laugh. We are so saddened to hear of Richard's passing. My husband and I became friendly with him through a restaurant in town we frequented. He was a kind and generous man, who always made us laugh.
