Deanna Lynn Brown

Deanna Lynn Brown, 84, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Marion Health. Deanna was born on June 21, 1939, daughter of the late Cecil and Georgia Denigan. On November 13, 1957, she married Arlie "Pete" Brown, and he passed away on January 17, 2014.She worked as a CNA for Blackford Hospital and then Marion General Hospital until retiring in the 80's. She enjoyed yard work, mowing, crocheting, doing cross-stitch, and before he passed, camping with Pete. She also helped at her daughter's craft store.
Deanna is survived by her son, Michael (Judy) Brown, Ocala, Florida; daughters, Maria (David) Evers, Rochester, Georgia Brown, McKinney, Texas, and Teresa (Dale) Crowder, Muncie; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Georgia, and husband, Pete.
Arrangements for Lynn have been entrusted to the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, Indiana, at 2:00 p.m.
