Deanna Mattheus

Deanna Mattheus, age 44, a lifelong resident of Covington passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2023. She was born August 21, 1978 in Atlanta and grew up in Covington. Deanna attended Newton County High School and loved hanging out with her family and friends. Deanna was preceded in death by her father Ricky Grimes; her brother Keith Grimes; and her uncles Buddy and Andy Grimes. She is survived by her 7 children; her 2 grandchildren; her mother Cindy Warren; her sister April Grimes; her brother Robert Grimes; she also has one nephew along with numerous other family members and many close friends. No services are planned at this time.
