EAST CORINTH – Deanna B. Pierson, 80, of East Corinth, died at her home on September 28, 2025. Deanna ("Dee") was born Dec 1st, 1944, in Woodsville N.H., the daughter of John, Sr. and Elizabeth (Sulham) Patterson. She attended school at South Ryegate and Wells River High School.
On December 10th, 1960, she married the love of her life, Gene Pierson. They had six children, Gene Jr. (Lisa K.), Lisa A. (Mark), Suzanne (Chris), Kristal (Thane), Melvin (Erica), and Matthew (Jamie).
Dee leaves behind traditional family values of hard work, honesty, integrity and love of family. She will also be remembered for her delicious breads, donuts, cookies and whoopie pies – which she generously shared with family and friends.
Both of our parents taught us to have strength and courage during difficult times, even when your heart is broken. Wisely spoken by our dad, Gene, "sometimes you don't realize how good people really are until you have trouble of some kind. If all this is any indication of wealth, we are very rich."
As Dee wrote to Gene after his passing, and as we remind them both now,
We all miss you so very much
But our memories will never fade
We love you still and always will
Each and every day
-Deanna Pierson 6/23
Dee was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, granddaughters Brittney and Makala, her parents, John, Sr. and Elizabeth, brothers Richard and John, Jr., sister Betty, and sister-in-law Carol. She is survived by her six children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother Edward, Sr. and sister Christine (Steve), sister-in-law Jonilee Dow (Chuck), and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no services, at her request.
Burial for Deanna and Gene will be at a later date, in the East Corinth Cemetery family plot.
Arrangements are in the care of Hale Funeral Home, 187 Upper Plain in Bradford
