Deanna was a dear friend. She started out as my reflexologist and massage therapist. She and I quickly connected over shared life experiences and also the love of music, birds and lots of other things. We were meant to be friends from day one. Her lovely disposition is why my husband and I were drawn to her and we became very a good friends. We have had many good times together with Deanna, not to mention that she was the best massage therapist ever. She shared a love of Jazz and she and I often talked about great musicians and following them. She thoroughly enjoyed the concerts we shared and the one we sent her to in our stead when we came down with Covid. She was so excited she FaceTimed part of the concert with us so we didn´t miss it entirely. She had the best laugh, and the best smile ever! She also shared so many great stories with us and we loved her for the free, energetic and loving spirit she was. She talked with me about her love for her sons and her dog Rocco. She is and will always be in our hearts forever and always. The photos are from the Lindsey Webster concert and our trip to Jay and Silent Bob´s Secret Stash before the concert in Redbank, New Jersey with Lindsey Webster herself who talked with us for over 15 minutes.

I´m so sorry. Way too young to be gone.

Never stopped thinking of her as my Aunt Deanna. She taught me how to whistle and helped me learn to swim. I hadn't seen her since childhood but she will always have a special place in my heart. Forever grateful for the memories in Northern Michigan, a long drive to PA to visit, and for blessing us with my cousins. XO

Deanna, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final departure. The honor guards are stationed and final volley has sounded. Taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
