Debbie Rena Chaney

Debbie Rena Chaney, 53, born November 7, 1972, in Hyden, Kentucky, to Judy Clark and the late Walter Howard, passed on November 11, 2025. Debbie was a fun-loving shopper who was always decorating her house for any occasion, but, above all, she was a loving mother to her children and all those around her. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Charles Henry Chaney Jr; her mother Judy Clark; her children Valerie Chaney Redmon, David Dennis, Renee Francis, and Eric Cogar; her grandchildren Henry Redmon, Michelle Dennis, David Dennis Jr, and Aubrey Francis; her brother Bobby Houp; and a host of nieces and nephew, including Tommy Hamm, Samantha Chaney, William Gobel Chaney, and Little Wayne. Debbie is preceded in death by her father and her sister Siller Howard. A visitation will be held from 12-4pm Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main Street. A service will be held on 12pm, Monday, November 17, 2025, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
