TANGIER – Debbie Cory, 65, of Tangier, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on December 8, 2024.
Born on August 27, 1959, to the late Mike and Judie (Grabman) Esra, Debbie grew up in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and graduated from Turkey Run High School.
Debbie is lovingly remembered by her sons, Clint Cory of Crawfordsville and Dan (Liz) Cory of Linton; her cherished grandson, Colton Cory; and her sisters, Candee Esra and Connie Esra. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phil Cory; her life partner Dale Cox; and her parents, Mike and Judie Esra.
Throughout her life, Debbie embraced a variety of roles, including working at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, the local hardware store, as a property manager, CPA, and deputy clerk. However, her most treasured role was being "Margret" to her grandson, Colton.
