Debbie Hoerrmann

Deborah Sue Hoerrmann, 64, of Milan Missouri, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri, surrounded by family.
Debbie was born on March 1, 1960, to Douglas and Barbara (Anderson) Oxendale in Odebolt, Iowa. She spent her younger years in northwest Iowa, before moving to Milan when she was 14. She graduated from Milan High School in 1978. Debbie loved to cook, and over the years she owned two restaurants: Gordo's in Milan, Missouri and The Ribcage in Green City, Missouri. She also worked in the healthcare industry for many years. She babysat for many years and considered them her adopted children along with many others. She loved to sew and watch HGTV that inspired many DIY projects. She most of all loved spending time with her family.
Debbie is survived by her mother; Barbara Oxendale of Milan, four children; Angela (Jared) Chapman of Unionville, Kristen Hoerrmann of Milan, Kelli Jacobs (Gingo Smith) of Milan, and Jordan (Ashley) Hoerrmann of Milan, 12 grandchildren; Savanna Linhart, Chase Jacobs, Gavin Hoerrmann, Corey Chapman, Rayden Chapman, Daniel Jacobs, Zane Chapman, Ally Jacobs, Addelyn Jacobs, Alex Solares, Kase Hoerrmann and Cohen Hoerrmann, aunts and uncles; Curtis Anderson (Kay) of Ames, Iowa, Nancy (Chuck) Gunnerman of Ames, Iowa, Cindy Gore of Omaha, Nebraska, Don Anderson of Mexico and Keith (Sheila) Anderson of Tuscan, Arizona, several nieces and nephews and lots of her babysitting kids she cherished as well. She was preceded in death by her father; Douglas Oxendale, two brothers; Kurt Oxendale and Mark Oxendale, uncles; Dennis Anderson, Bruce Oxendale, Keith Oxendale, Roger Oxendale, Dennis Oxendale, maternal grandmother; Dorothy and Roland Anderson and paternal grandmother; Dorothy and Lawrence Oxendale.
Services for Debbie will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home, in Milan, Missouri. A visitation will be held one hour prior, beginning at 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made payable to Kelli Jacobs, and will be going to Debbie's grandchildren.
