Debbie Marie Johnson, a cherished grandmother and devoted member of her community, passed away on August 21, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, the city where she was born on January 7, 1964. Debbie was a remarkable individual whose warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Throughout her career, Debbie dedicated herself to working for the Internal Revenue, demonstrating her strong work ethic and commitment to serving others. She also proudly served as an Army Veteran, embodying a spirit of resilience and dedication. Her educational journey culminated at South Oak Cliff, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with achievements and love.
Debbie's personality was as vibrant as her cooking; she had a great heart, always eager to share a laugh and create joyful moments with family and friends. Known for being very nice and always having a good time, she was the type of person that everyone gravitated towards. Her magnificent culinary skills brought the family together, and she took immense joy in cooking for them, always striving to make memorable meals.
As a proud grandmother, Debbie held her role close to her heart and found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandson. Her love for family extended beyond mere duty; it was a passion that defined her life. Traveling was another one of her beloved pursuits, and she cherished the stories and experiences that came from exploring new places, often shared during family gatherings.
Debbie will be remembered not only for her remarkable accomplishments but also for her loving nature and big heart. She was a wonderful grandmother, whose legacy will live on in the memories shared by her family.
In honoring her memory, family and friends are invited to the visitation on September 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A funeral service will follow on September 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM, concluding at the same location.
