Debbie Sharon Phillips of Selma, Alabama passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 16, 2024 at the age of 65.

She was born to the late George Washington and Hazel Jeanette Grace Osburn on August 1, 1958.

She was a homemaker.

Debbie married her soulmate, James Mark Phillips Sr. on January 25, 1990.

She is survived by her husband, James M. Phillips Sr.; children, Amanda (Chris) Latham-Frith, Eric W. (Beverly) Brooks, Tammy M. (John) Sellers; siblings, Doug Osburn, Joy Barnette; grandchildren, Austin Latham, Kayden Latham, Kolton Latham, Dakota Brooks, Damian Constable, Kole Sumner; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George Washington and Hazel Jeanette Grace Osburn; brother, Kenneth Osburn Sr.; sister-in-law, Charleen Osburn; brother-in-law David Phillips; granddaughter, Kiera-Faith Latham.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Andrews officiating. 

Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens. 

Pallbearers will be Jody Pilcher, Dakota Brooks, Damian Constable, Jeff Martin, Tim Smith and Austin Latham.

Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Rinehart, John McDonald and Alan Jones.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m.. 

Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the Selma Funeral Home of Valley Grande, Alabama
