To the Family ....
Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories. I often think of Debbie, her smile and infectious laugh! She touched my soul and left beautiful memories. July 2021

Debbie Scoppechio was a friend and business/advertising colleague from Creative Alliance with whom I had the pleasure of working with while I was at Louisville Gas & Electric Company in the '90's.
I had lost contact with Debbie, but often thought of her. Something drove me to google Debbie today and to my sadness, I found that she had passed away.
She was loved, had a heart of gold and will be missed. Rick, may your heart be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times Debbie and you had together as you celebrate a life well lived. My sympathy goes to you and the family.
With Love and Sympathy,

Debbie was a wonderful person, a mentor and good friend. Everyone knew when "Hurricane Debbie" had entered the building. She was such an iconic figure in Louisville that soon I expect to see her picture painted on one of the city's buildings. She deserves such recognition. Though she left us too soon, Debbie will never be forgotten. Rick, thank you for being there for her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so fortunate to work for Debbie as her Executive Assistant for 5 years. She was tough as nails but had a heart of gold. As she did for so many others, she influenced my life and career tremendously, and I will be forever grateful to have known her.

Debbie was a 'force of nature' who made a remarkable contribution to our community. I'm saddenned to learn of her passing yesterday. She will be missed by all who knew her -- but her gifts to Louisville will live for a long time.
