Debbie Marble / Smith, 73, of Carthage, Missouri, went to be with Jesus on October 17, 2025.

Debbie was born on September 20, 1952, in Neosho, Missouri, to Lester Lee and Mary Jo (Cowan) Marble. She grew up on her parents farm in the Burch community attending school in a one room schoolhouse and later graduated from Neosho High School with the Class of 1970.

Throughout her life, Debbie was known for her warm smile and generous heart. She worked at Wal-Mart and then later Pick and Save Variety Store both in Neosho, where she enjoyed helping others and connecting with her community. A member of Burch Baptist Church, her faith was an anchor in her life.

She lived in Neosho most of her life until having to relocate to Carthage Health & Rehab following a car accident in 1997.

Debbie was a proud Kansas City Chiefs fan, always ready to cheer on her team. She loved taking trips to Branson, spending time with family, and bringing joy to those around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin Hatfield and husband, Sam, of Neosho, MO; her son, Chris Smith and wife, Amanda, of Nixa, MO; and grandson, Xander Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Mary Jo Marble.

A visitation to celebrate Debbie's life will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. A private family burial is scheduled Thursday October 23 at Oakwood Cemetery.
