Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home - SenecaLinda Mae (Brodie) Jeffers, a lifelong resident of Neosho, MO, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Joplin Gardens in Joplin, Missouri, after a long illness.
Linda Mae Brodie was born February 24, 1953, in Noel, MO, the daughter of Lee and Virginia (Eads) Brodie. Linda was a graduate of Neosho High School. She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, sister, and friend to everyone who knew her. She was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord and wasn't afraid to tell the world, and now she is reaping her eternal reward with our Father in Heaven.
Linda Mae Brodie married Richard Bruce Jeffers on August 5, 1973, in Neosho, MO. They celebrated 52 years of marriage this year.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Jeffers of Neosho, Mo.; her boys Bruce Lee Jeffers and wife Christine of Seneca, Mo. and Timothy Franklin Jeffers and wife Alexis of Jasper, Mo.; brother, C.L. Brodie and wife Cheryl of Seneca, Mo.; 4 grandchildren Alex, Tessela, Hannah, and Blaine; 3 great-grandchildren Logan, Lily, and Bryson; and a host of family and friends that span a long life lived to the fullest.
Linda worked as a department manager for Scholastic Books in Neosho, MO, making sure every child had the opportunity to expand their knowledge and dreams.
Linda enjoyed being outdoors and tending to her flower garden, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 16th at the Oakwood Cemetery in Neosho, MO., with Rev. Pat Jeffers officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s's Children's Research Hospital, as she possessed a love for all children. www.stjude.org
