Judith Kay Watson

Judith "Judy" Kay Watson, 80, of Seneca, Missouri, passed away on October 3, 2025. She was born on April 6, 1945, to Warren and Nellie Kellogg.

Judy was a very special woman, full of faith and kindness. She would give the shirt off her back if it meant another wouldn't have to do without. She was witty and known for her wonderful sayings that brought joy and laughter to those around her.

She loved to crochet and quilt, and nothing made her happier than getting lost in a good book. Judy was also an excellent cook, and her greatest joy came from preparing meals for her family and spending time together around the table.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bruce Watson; and her son, William "Bill" Neal.

She is survived by her daughter, Erin Crease of Seneca; her son, David Neal of Riverton, Kansas; and her daughter-in-law, Tereasa Freeman of Joplin. She also leaves behind her grandsons Justin Neal of Seneca, Joshua Blevins and wife Caryn of Neosho, Missouri, and Ryan Crease of Baxter Springs, Kansas; her granddaughters Kari Vinson and husband Robert of Neosho, Missouri, Kayla Sprinkles and husband Jeremiah of Joplin, Missouri, Dusty Sampson of Neosho, Missouri, and Halie Neal of Riverton, Kansas; and many beloved great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Belfast Baptist Cemetery in Neosho. A Celebration of Life will follow at Bethel Baptist Church in Seneca, where friends and family are invited to gather in her memory, with a meal to be shared afterward.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to some of the hospital staff who showed extraordinary compassion during a difficult time: Adalyn, Jake, Lexi, Macy, Tadd, and the doctors whose kindness will never be forgotten. A special heartfelt thank you to Nurse Morgan, whose dedication and kind heart made a world of difference to the family in their most challenging moments.

Judy's faith, warmth, and love will live on through the lives of her family and everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.
