Debbie Glasgow Watson

Debbie Glasgow Watson,73, of Rockingham passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Richmond Co. Hospice Haven. She was born January 24, 1952 in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Thomas Harold Glasgow, Sr. and Iva Elizabeth Lanier Glasgow.

Mrs. Watson was a member of Cartledge Creek Baptist Church. She retired from Richmond Co. Public Schools and enjoyed reading, trips to the beach and loved playing the piano. She loved spending time with family, wandering aimlessly on day trips with her husband and loved fawning over her three granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by a brother Tommy Glasgow, Jr.

A Celebration of her life will be Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at Cartledge Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Lutz officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Surviving, Her husband of 53 years, Rev. Randall Watson; Children, Rand Watson (Samatha), Cassi Watson Webb and Mac Watson; Grandchildren, Will Watson, Jeremiah Watson, Brady Watson, Briley Webb, Rae Watson, Harper Faye Watson; A sister, Cindy Renfrow (Les); A brother, Tommy Glasgow (Tara).
