Debbie Wilkey

Debbie Lynn Wilkey, 73, of Winters, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025. She was born on June 23, 1952, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Leroy McIntire and Hazel Hankins. Debbie was a woman of deep faith, whose love for God shaped every part of her life. She found great joy in studying the Bible, nurturing her relationship with the Lord, and sharing His love with others. Her heart overflowed with kindness, joy, and compassion. Whether she was spending time with family and friends, caring for animals, baking something sweet, or tending to her garden, Debbie did it all with warmth and grace. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother- loving and selfless in every role she held. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy McIntire and Hazel Hankins, and her sister, Judy Scott. Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Billy Royce Wilkey; her sons, Russell Wilkey and Wayland Wilkey and his wife, Kristen; and her cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jade, and Jaykob. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Bluff Creek Cowboy Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Debbie's honor and memory to Bluff Creek Cowboy Church, a place that was close to her heart. Debbie's legacy of faith, love, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
