Debora was a dedicated Homemaker who took immense pride in maintaining an immaculate home. She was known for her vibrant energy and passion for staying busy. Whether it was taking leisurely walks around her neighborhood or riding motorcycles with her husband, Debora embraced life with joy and enthusiasm.
Family was at the core of Debora's heart. She is survived by her loving husband, Darrell, her children, Todd Yates (Karissa), Ashley Crone, and Dylan Cook (Nakeysia), and her cherished grandchildren, Hailey Yates, Aubrianna Blevins, Peyton Watkins, Dylan Cook Jr., Kayden Cook, and Aneiya Smart. Debora also leaves behind her sister, Linda Fugit, and brother, Donald David (Becky).
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Yates and Ella Louise David, her son, Matthew Crone, and her sister, Shirley Yates. Despite these profound losses, Debora remained a source of strength and love for her family.
Visitation will be held at Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172), on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. A funeral service celebrating Debora's life will follow at 6:00 pm at the same location. Arrangements are provided by Garr Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to: Garr Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
