Debora "Debbie" Theresa Stancil Crenshaw, 69, wife of Charles David Crenshaw, of Seneca, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at her residence.
A native of Oconee County, SC, Mrs. Crenshaw was the daughter of the late Charles and Billie Ray Stancil. She retired as a nurse and was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. Mrs. Crenshaw was known as "Mama" to her kids, "Nana" to her grandkids, and "Miss Debbie" was a mother to countless others.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Crenshaw is survived by her son: Nick Crenshaw (Kendra) of Seneca; daughters: Maria Abbink (Shawn) of Fairplay, Amy Crenshaw of Seneca, and Hannah Jurs (Craig) of Greenville; grandchildren: Alexus Harbin (Jake) of Pendleton, Alexandria Farrell (Liam) of Seneca, Josh Douglas of Seneca, and DeMarley Abbink; and her baby: Bentley.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crenshaw was preceded in death by her brother: Ray Stancil.
A memorial service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Walhalla, SC on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at 10:00 AM in the St. John's Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to: Alzheimer's Association, South Carolina Chapter, Greenville Area Office: 123 W. Antrim Drive, Greenville, SC 29607.
The family is at their respective homes.
