A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Dover was the daughter of the late Luther Dan and Della Mae Matheson Reid. She retired from Duke Energy.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dover is survived by her son: Rick Dover and his wife Stephanie of Seneca; daughter: Melissa Brandt and her husband Phillip of North Augusta, SC; four grandchildren: Sarah Carpenter and her husband Bennett, Emily Yancy and her husband Rusty, Grayson Brandt, and Garrett Brandt; and one great-grandchild: Larkin Carpenter.
In addition to her parents; Mrs. Dover was preceded in death by her brother: Charles Reid; and sisters: Mary Ann Stephens and Carolyn Laird.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, November 3, 2025 at the Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Monday, November 3, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home.
Flowers are accepted.

Was so sorry to hear of Jean's passing.She was a dear classmate and friend, to know her was to love her and appreciate her kindness. My prayers are with all the family and friends
