Berenice Gladys Hyatt, 72, of Seneca, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2025, at her home.
A native of Oconee County, SC, Ms. Hyatt was the daughter of the late James Austin and Icie Gertrude Capps Smith. She formerly worked for Nason in Quality Control and Development and was of the Church of God faith.
Ms. Hyatt is survived by her son: David Lecroy; daughters: Tracy Hawkins (Allan) and Wanda Thompson (Marty); brothers: Stanley Smith (Charlotte), Raymond Smith, and Johnny Smith (Tina); sisters: Carol Stone, Dorothy Brown, Barbara Rogers, and Mildred Jackson; grandchildren: Steven Hawkins (Samantha), Adam Hawkins (Ashley), and Brittany Lecroy; and great-grandchild: Braeleigh Lecroy.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.
Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills, attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Dr., Seneca, SC 29672.
The family is at their respective homes.
