Deborah Anderson, 65, of rural Evansville, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 19th, surrounded by her loving family.
Deborah Leigh Pavek was born August 25th 1957 in Minneapolis, MN to J. Roland and Yvonne (Yantes) Pavek. She graduated from Watertown-Mayer High School in 1975 and attended college at the University of Minnesota in St Paul, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education.
In 1981 she moved to Evansville, MN where she taught high school ag and shop classes. During that time, she met Bradley Anderson of rural Evansville. They later married on July 16th 1982, settling down on the Anderson family farm in Lund Township, with Debbie helping Brad on the farm and together raising 5 children.
Debbie served as Secretary of Faith Lutheran Church in Evansville for many years, retiring after her cancer diagnosis in 2020. She was known for her 'Church Mouse' and other devotional writings. Debbie's tireless devotion to her faith, family, and community was recognized by all that knew her. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family, telling stories, reading and writing, cross-stitch and quilting, as well as completing many sudoku & jig-saw puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Yvonne "Wally" Henning, Rollie and Barb Pavek, Arlo Henning, Burton and Margaret Anderson; and sister-in-law LaVay Anderson.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Bradley of Evansville; children, Laura (Shawn) Plowman of Brookings, SD, Hannah Anderson of Evansville, Reuben (Cora Risbrudt) Anderson of Ashby, Rachel (Andy) Berry of Littlefork, Aaron (Ruth) Anderson of Park Rapids; grandchildren, Siri and Amos Anderson; siblings, Beckie (Brian) Henning, Bradley (Beda) Pavek, Burton (Jenifer) Pavek, Beth (Tim) Pettit, Sarah Pavek; step siblings, Carol (Tony) Henning, Cheri (Craig) Byers, Arthur Ingham; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Luther (Ardelle) Anderson, Dennis Anderson, Burnell (Bonnie) Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Blessed be the memory of Deborah L. Anderson.

Visitation: Friday, November 25, 2022 from 5 – 7 P.M. at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Evansville and resuming for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial Service: Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church in Evansville.
Burial: Christina Lake Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
