Deborah-Ann "Debbie" Sullivan

Blythewood

Deborah-Ann, Sullivan, 71, of Blythewood, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the home of her son. Born on May 17, 1954, in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Alice Hayes Potter. Debbie was honest, generous, and the adoring grandmother of four boys. While she cherished her Rhode Island roots, she took great pride in her cozy little home in Blythewood, SC where she nurtured her gardens and cared dearly for her pets. After retiring from the Bose corporation, she became an avid rock painter, known affectionately as "Grand-mie Rocks."

Debbie is survived by two sons: Tim Sullivan (Ana) and Chris Sullivan (Bridget); four grandchildren, James Sullivan, Charles Sullivan, Callum Sullivan, and Lachlan Sullivan; four siblings, Arthur Potter, Andy Potter (Karen), Aaron Potter, and Alan Potter (Lisa); and dear friends, John and Janice Burnett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband James Mark Sullivan, Jr., and a sister, Dianna Potter-Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Protection League of South Carolina in the memory of Debbie Sullivan.
