Born on November 22, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, Debbie was the cherished daughter of the late Norman and Jeanette Popelchuck. She was a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.
Debbie was a proud graduate of Lincoln Park High School, class of 1973, where she formed lifelong friendships. After graduation, she embarked on a fulfilling career in the restaurant industry, serving as a manager for over 30 years. Her passion for service, combined with her innate ability to connect with people, made her a beloved figure among her colleagues and the many patrons she encountered.
In her personal life, Debbie was a devoted wife to her husband, Mark Bernard, and a loving mother to her daughters, Brita Campbell (husband Travis) and Amanda Lewis (husband Jay). Her role as a grandmother to Seth Richardson and Gibson Lewis was one she cherished with every ounce of her being.
