It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah Anne Blum, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. Deborah, known for her infectious laughter, generosity, and compassionate spirit, left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She was the light of every room, with a heart full of love for her family and a deep passion for caring for others.
Deborah enjoyed a fulfilling 35-year career as a special education teacher, earning her Master's in Education and dedicating her life to helping children thrive. She was a lifelong learner, a lover of books, and an avid traveler who treasured capturing family moments through photography. Her love for her family's four dogs was as boundless as her love for her children and husband.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Barry Blum, her children, Steven Blum and Amanda Hernandez, and her sister, Donna Shannon. Deborah's family was her everything, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
