Deborah Boles Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home on Dec. 6, 2024.
Deborah M. Boles, 53, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away at Lawrence General Hospital on Sunday, December 1, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Randall S. Boles with whom she enjoyed 29 years of marriage.
She was born in Nuremberg, Germany on December 11, 1970, and was the daughter of the late Donald Damron (US Army) and Dianne (Nunes) Burelle (an English teacher).
Deborah was raised in Perkins, Oklahoma and Epping, New Hampshire. She attended Colby-Sawyer College and Tufts University, completing bachelor's and master's degrees in biology, respectively, with a focus on microbiology. She pursued pharmaceutical science at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, attaining a degree in Pharmacy. She was employed as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist at Lawrence General and a Clinical Pharmacy Manager at Lowell General Hospital, additionally being a Visiting Professor at Saint Anselm College and an Adjunct Professor at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy for over fifteen years. She was the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Innovation Academy Charter School (IACS), served two terms as president of the Association of Chelmsford Theater (ACT), and often volunteered as a stage manager for the productions with the Savoyard Light Opera Company (SLOC). She was, above all, a crafter, who enjoyed her resin art and her business Debbee's Creations. She loved football, animals, and traveling. Above all, she loved taking care of others, both through her pharmaceutical work and in her personal life, with her immense propensity for gift-giving and generosity.
In addition to her loving husband, Deborah is survived by her two children, Chase, 22, of Montréal, QC, and Hunter, 19, of Chelmsford, MA, as well as by her stepfather Gil Burelle of Epping, NH. She is also survived by her brother Doug Damron and his wife Anita Damron of Reston, VA. She also leaves a large legacy of friends in her community, in theater, and at Innovation Academy.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford. Funeral Service and Interment will be held privately.
Deborah Boles, mother to Hunter (Class of 2023), proudly served Innovation Academy Charter School (IACS) in a variety of capacities. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to IACS.
