Funeral services for Deborah Kay Esters Burrows, age 62, of Kelly will; be held 10:00 AM Friday September 15, 2023 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Kristy Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in Chickasaw Cemetery at Olla. The Burrows Family will receive visitors on Thursday September 14, 2023 at the funeral home in Columbia from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Deborah Kay Esters was born on November 26, 1960 at Urania, LA to the union of her beloved parents, Homer Esters and Evelyn Inez Sanders Esters. She passed from this life on Tuesday September 12, 2023 at the Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Bennie, Dale and Kennerth Esters and her maternal grandparents, Bennie Sanders and Edna Marsh Sanders and her maternal grandparents, Elige Esters and and Mellie Arthurs Esters.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Ray Burrows of Kelly, LA; sister, Carolyn Coan of Columbia; her brothers, Larry Esters and Ricky Esters of Kelly, LA; her nephews, Jonathan Esters of Kelly, Robert Esters of Kelly and Ethan Esters of West Monroe, LA; her niece: Marilyn Harris of West Monroe ; her step-daughter Kimberly Burrows and step son Jeremiah Burrows; and her beloved grandchildren, James Mathers, Brittany Reynoza, Zach Reynoza, Caleb Reynoza and Meghan (Mae Mae) Reynoza.
Serving as pallbearers will be John Burrows, Melvin Burrows, Bill Burrows, Bruce Underwood, Rev. Courtney Dunn and Doug Stamper. Men of Faith Family Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
