Deborah (Debby) Sheryl Chapman, a beloved mother and retired nurse known for her boundless love and warmth, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 70 years old.
Born on October 20, 1953, in Paris, KY, Debby dedicated her life to caring for others. As a nurse, she touched countless lives with her compassion, kindness, and unwavering commitment to those in need. Her dedication to helping others was only matched by her love for her family.
Debby's greatest joy was her family. She lovingly raised her children, Austin Lee Ward III, Amos Lee Ward (deceased in 2018), and Debra Jean Kaiser. She also cherished her role as grandmother to 15 adored grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride into her life.
A woman of great Christian faith Debby's gentle spirit and nurturing nature were a testament to her deep and enduring love for God. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing her was greeted with love and a warm smile. Despite her own challenges, Debby remained a source of strength and inspiration to all who crossed her path. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures and treasured moments spent with loved ones.
Debby's legacy of love, kindness, faith, and strength will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
