Deborah Collins was born Nov 8, 1954, in Brooklyn, NY. Deborah's family relocated to Neptune, NJ, in 1980 to be with her loving Aunt. She attended Clara Barton High School in Brooklyn, NY. Later in her life, Deborah relocated to Staten Island, where she met her husband, Charles Houston. Deborah was not only a dedicated wife and mother but spent her professional career in the health care sector taking care of others. Deborah's hobbies were listening to music, dancing, and spending time with family, which included playing cards and Pokeno.
Deborah departed this life on Friday, October 20th, 2023. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Helen Baity; father, Russell Collins; son, Shaezel (Self) Collins; brother, Ronnie Collins, and sister Denise Collins. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Charles Houston, her sister, Sandra Collins, her sons, Keith and Deshawn Collins; daughter, Latisha Collins, daughter-in-law Jamie Collins; her great aunt who was like a mother to her, Louise Spencer, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grand on the way, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
