Deborah “Debbie” Ann Evans, of Middlesboro, KY entered her Heavenly home on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. She was born in Middlesboro, KY, on December 31, 1957, to Ed and Alma Gilbert Allen, who preceded her in death.
Debbie was known for her outgoing personality and great smile, which could light up a room. She loved animals, both her own and everybody else’s, and never passed up a chance to offer a scratch, a treat, or a kind word. Debbie also enjoyed thrift shopping, delighting in uncovering hidden treasures.
In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her brother, Jay Edward Allen; sister, Rhonda Kaye Skaggs; and nephew, Michael Carter.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jerry Evans; son, Brandon Evans; brother, Gary Allen (Ginger Lindsey); sister, Jessica Lynn and Melissa Allen; uncle, Leon (Debbie) Allen; niece, Jaynia Allen; and great-nephew, Christian Carter as well as a host of other family and friends.
The family of Debbie Evans will receive friends on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m.with Reverend Ronnie Rose presiding.
Graveside services for Debbie Evans will be held at 1:00 p.m.on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Sharp's Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY. Family and friends will meet at 12:00 p.m. at Cawood Funeral Home to travel in procession to the cemetery.
