Deborah Ann “Debbie” Dougherty, age 54, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on November 30, 2025. Born in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of Carol Haviland Dougherty (nee Conway) and the late Edward J. Dougherty.
Debbie's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to both her career and personal passions. An accomplished automobile buyer for Krapf, she navigated the complexities of her profession with both expertise and integrity, earning the respect of her colleagues and clients alike. Debbie also worked as a purchasing agent at Ikon Office Solutions and The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Debbie’s educational journey began at the Wyncote Academy, where she graduated high school in 1990, paving the way for her artistic pursuits. She further honed her creative talents at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where she earned an Associate Degree in Photography. Her love for art and photography blossomed during these formative years, culminating in a remarkable achievement—a prestigious award from the Schools Diana Photography Competition, a testament to her keen eye and innovative spirit.
Her passion for art and photography was not just a hobby; it was a lens through which she viewed the world, capturing its beauty and vibrancy. Cooking was another of her many passions, a skill she enjoyed sharing with friends and loved ones, infusing warmth into gatherings and creating lasting memories.
Debbie’s presence was both warm and inviting, and her vibrant spirit touched all who knew her. She had a beautiful smile that lit up every room she walked into. Debbie was a beloved figure in her community, she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, passion, and unyielding determination
Debbie was the loving mother of Christine D. Lawless and caring sister of Edward P. Dougherty (Jennifer) and the late Diane Dougherty.
Family and friends are invited to Debbie’s Viewing 9:30-10:45 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Villanova, PA.
