Deborah Kay Douglass (Williamson), of Norman, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. She was born May 12, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Bill Williamson and Freida Lois (Claxton) Williamson.

Deborah grew up in Pauls Valley and attended OU where she received a bachelor's degree in special education in 1975. She married David Douglass in 1977. She and David lived in several different states, including Florida, Texas and California where she worked in Special Education specializing in autism, for which she was an advocate. Deborah retired from teaching in California with the California Teachers Retirement System in 2001.

Deborah was a loving and attentive mother to Andrew Clayton Douglass of Sacremento, California and Tyler Holt Douglass of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Deborah (De De/Debbie) was an avid OU football fan and self professed wine connoisseur.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Bill and Freida Williamson and brother, Billy Dean Williamson. She is survived by her children, Tyler and Drew and brothers Randy Dale Williamson of Norman, Don Williamson of Laguna Beach, California and sister, Dr. Sherrie Gaye Williamson of Norman.

Per her wishes, there will be no funeral service but her ashes will be spread in a celebration of life in the Napa Valley wine country , a place she so loved.

Memorials may be made in memory of Deborah in her name to a charity of choice.
