Deborah L. Drezek

Deborah L. Drezek, 69, of Southington, passed away unexpectedly while doing what she loved most, rescuing stray animals.
She was born on October 5, 1955, in New Britain, CT the daughter of the late David and Marion Drezek.
She is survived by her sister Karen Casale and her husband Anthony and Anthonys sister Ann; her nieces and nephews, Anthony Casale, Jr., Deborah and Randy Hebditch, Lynne and Bob Forbotnick, and Frank Casale, Catarina Novo and their families; her Aunt Barbara and Uncle Brian Cook and Mimi Pliska, along with many, many cousins.
Deborah worked for Cigna and Crowley Chrysler before retiring. She was passionate about rescuing animals, especially cats. Any animal that would stop by her front porch would enjoy a meal before continuing on their journey. Her favorite place to vacation was Cape Cod, where she spent many years making memories with her family. Interior design and decorating were her specialty, making home a place where family felt comfort and love. She carried her design into her landscape making special spots to stop and enjoy nature. All her gifts remind us of how special family, life and nature are as we spend our time here on earth. Thank you Deborah for sharing in our lives, you memory and all you have done will live on in our hearts.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday October 15, 2024 from 5 PM until 8 PM at OBrien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 9AM from OBrien Funeral Home to St. Stanislaus Church, West St., Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM, followed by a procession to St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
