Kenneth C. West, Jr., 68 of Bristol, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Kenny was born on May 4, 1957 in Bristol, CT the son of the late Kenneth Sr. and Mary West, one of twelve children.

He was a retired ironworker for Local Unions 15 and 424, having worked on many buildings that dot the skylines throughout New England and was also an avid fisherman; he could always be found on Saturday mornings along the Farmington River. When he wasn't fishing, he delighted in spending time with his granddaughter, camping with his twin sister Marion and her husband, and walking his dog.

Kenny is survived by his loving wife Marcia West of Bristol; his daughter and son-in-law Cara and Clinton Holmes and their daughter Juniper; his son Kyle West; his beloved dog Jaxson; his sisters and brothers-in-law Katherine and Paul Langevin, Joanne and Jean Lacroix, Linda and John Wishneski, Patricia and Adrian Legrand, Marion and Hughes Lachance, Jane and Jeff Pabst and Robin and Dan Curylo; his brother John West and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Robert West, Rita Turnquist and Maryann Jett.

In addition to his immediate family, Kenny is survived by his sisters-in-law Sharon Lyons (husband Mark), Laurie Felice, and Nancy Felice.

Calling hours will be held on Monday March 2, 2026 at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave. Bristol CT from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM then to St. Matthew Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM, followed by a procession to St. Joseph Cemetery.
