Robert West Obituary
Robert West, age 80, of Caddo Gap, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
He was born on February 21, 1946, in Glenwood. Robert was the son of Richard Dale West, Sr. and Irene Gladden West. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his two granddaughters, Olivia Grace Ann Nail and Faith Lainie Nail.
Robert married the love of his life, Janice Green West, on August 17, 1968. He was a member of Caddo Gap Baptist. He was known for his work ethic and loving working on his farm. Most of all he loved his family and being "Papaw" to his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janice West of Caddo Gap; his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Anna West of Caddo Gap; his daughter and son-in-law, Caroline and Chris Nail of Benton; his five grandchildren, Chandler July West and his fiancée, Ashley, Brooks Lee Nail, Andrew Jett and Ava West , Christian Bo Nail, and Carson Lane West; his two brothers and sister-in-law, Richard Dale West, Jr. and William and Donna West all of Glenwood; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.
