Tommy Gene Singleton, age 64, of Royal, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
He was born on September 14, 1961 in Dumas. He was the son of Elisha Singleton and Geneva Fair Singleton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his two brothers, Leeroy Singleton and R.L. Singleton.
On May 27, 1983, Tommy married the love of his life, Donna. He loved tinkering, being on his tractor, gardening, collecting, and his chickens. Tommy loved pulling practical jokes. He was fond of his dog, Elvis. For many years he owned Singleton Construction. Most of all he loved being with his family and being papaw to his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Donna Singleton of Royal; his son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Kristina Singleton of Arkadelphia; his daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Andrew Cowger of Royal; his nine grandchildren, Dakota, Colton, Rafe, Carter, Lexi, Callie, Brooklyn, Elizabeth, and Tatum; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.
Pallbearers will be Darris Hughes, Chris Brown, Eric Newman, Richard Grannis, Kelly Morgan, and Jesse Cogburn.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at CHI St Vincent ICU and ER, the 70 West Fire Department, and First Baptist Church of Royal for all the love and care Tommy received.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Royal with Bro. George Lynch and Bro. Bobby Lock officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.
