Deborah “Debbie” Duplichen, 69, of Jackson, Louisiana, and a native of Melville, Louisiana, passed away on December 20, 2025 peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Debbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, JB “Peewee” Ellis Jr., who passed away March 6, 2019.
She is survived by her daughters, Kristina Courtney of Springdale, Arkansas, and Katrina Kesner and husband Anson of Tontitown, Arkansas. Debbie also lovingly raised TJ Riegel, who was like a son to her. She leaves behind eleven grandchildren: Kadynce Amaya, Alexander Amaya, Tenley Swartout, Alexis Hoggard, Alexis Kesner, Ty Kesner, Gavin Kesner, Elijah Kesner, Thomas Riegel, Kensley Riegel, and Ashton Riegel.
Debbie is also survived by her sisters Barbara Ray, Peggy Marcotte, and Polly Harris; her brothers Ernest Duplichen, Ray Duplichen, and Chris Duplichen; and many nieces and nephews who adored her. She was preceded in death by her sisters Jeanette Duplichen Fruge, Fay Duplichen Whittington, and Penny Duplichen Adams; her brother Milton Duplichen Jr.; and her parents, Milton and Florence Brossette Duplichen.
Debbie’s family is especially grateful for her dear friend Amy Robertson, whose care and companionship brought comfort and strength during Debbie’s final days.
She will be remembered with love for her kindness and gentle spirit. Debbie’s presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Memorial service will be held for immediate family at a later date.
