John Barry Martin

John Barry "Crash" Martin, a resident of Jackson, LA, died on Friday, March 6, 2026. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA from 9:00am until funeral services at 11:00am, followed by a burial at Hillcrest Cemetery in Norwood, LA. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jacqueline Rish Martin; three sisters: Debra Stevens Millions; Sharon Wade; Gail Jones; and two brothers: Michael Stevens and Ronald Martin and his wife Nora, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lee Carter Dier. Pallbearers will be Adam Perry, Daniel Perry, Alton Boone, Kell Rish, Bailey Rish, Anthony Martin, James Wade, and Timmy Nevels. Honorary pallbearers will be Wes Daniels and Michael Feirabend. He was a friend to all and excelled at helping people keep their cars running.
