Deborah Ann Emile, age 66, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025. Born to the late Nolan Sr. and Shirley Camp, she was the third of eight children. A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished family matriarch. Deborah was the proud mother of five children. She shared 37 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband Lawrence Emile. Deborah is survived by her husband Lawrence Emile, three sons Donald (Charlette) Claude Jr., Rodney (Nicole) Claude Sr., Ronald Claude; two daughters Dominique Butler and Lynette (Jaynard) Claude; four godchildren Vivian, Justin, Damon Nicholson and Vivian Joseph; one step-daughter Jahquetta Emile; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; three brothers Wayne Rogers, Ronald (Melissa) Williams, and Thomas (Regina) Camp; two sisters Brenda (Eugene) Richardson and Queen Camp; one aunt Carolyn Lyons; and three uncles Herbert, George, and Floyd Nicholson and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Nolan Sr. and Shirley Camp, one brother Nolan Camp Jr., one sister Sharon Camp, and two nephews Joseph Moye and Nolan Camp III. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, August 9, 2025, for 10:00 a.m. at Greater Hill of Zion, 1520 Alvar Street, New Orleans, LA 70117. Rev. Rochester Denson, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003.
