The staff of Heishman Funeral Home/Valley Funeral Service sends condolences to the family of Mrs. Deborah Fay Miller Good.
Deborah Fay Miller Good, 74, of New Market, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025, at her home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 30, at 10:00 a.m., at Valley Baptist Church in Edinburg. Pastor Chad Estep will officiate. Burial will follow in Wood's Chapel Cemetery in New Market. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, July 29 from 6-8 p.m., at Valley Baptist Church.
Mrs. Good was born March 6, 1951, in Woodstock, daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn Fulk Miller. She was a member of Valley Baptist Church and served in the children's ministries at the church. She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Good.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles Good Sr. whom she married on June 19, 1971; children, Charles M. Good Jr (Michelle) of Mt. Jackson, Rebecca Holliday (Dale) of Mt. Jackson, Melody Rose (Keith) of Wilkesboro, NC, Brenda Bowman (Charlie) of Liberty Furnace, Elizabeth Mongold (Jeff) of New Market and Sandra Rinker (Jordan) of Mt. Jackson; four sisters, Cindy Dove of Timberville and Terri Bosley, Sharon Dove and Ellen Estep all of Broadway; two brothers, Steve Miller and Mike Miller both of Quicksburg; 11 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and one step great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Keith Rose, Jordan Rinker, Tyler Mongold, Trey Coffman, Jeff Mongold and Shawn Jenkins.
