Deborah Alane "Debi" Fenbert

Deborah "Debi" Alane Fenbert, age 68, of Milford, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home on December 12, 2025. Debi was born on September 11, 1957, in Highland Park, Michigan, and spent most of her life in Highland and Milford, Michigan, places she proudly called home.
Debi had several jobs in her working career before later finding a role she truly enjoyed as a clerk at Kroger, where she valued the daily interactions and conversations with customers. She eventually retired from Kroger, having formed many meaningful connections along the way.
Known for her fun-loving nature and welcoming spirit, Debi had a special way of making everyone feel at home. She loved all types of music, especially classic rock, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family playing games of all kinds-board games, card games, yard games-anything that would bring people together.
Debi also had a lifelong love for animals, and found peace and happiness in nature. She enjoyed feeding wildlife at her home, caring for her pet birds and cats, and often shared fond memories of the horses she grew up with. She passed her love of nature and animals on to her daughters, a legacy that continues through them.
She is survived by her daughters, Krystal (Jason) Rider and Tammy (Art Colwell, IV) Fenbert; her sister, Laurie (Joseph) O'Callaghan; and her nieces and nephews, whom she deeply loved and enjoyed being an aunt to.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Alan (Theresa) Evans, Jr. (October 26, 2017); her father; Alan Evans, Sr. (February 27, 2021); and her mother, Patricia Evans (June 28, 2017).
Debi will be remembered for her kindness, her warmth, her joy in connecting with others, and the welcoming presence she brought into every room.

Private cremation and burial will be held. A memorial service celebrating her life will take place this spring.
