Deborah Faye (Potts) Galegor, 70, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.   Memories of Deborah and condolences for her family may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com or on our Facebook Page. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524.   Deborah was born March 8, 1953, in Independence, Missouri to Joseph Earl and Elsie Faye (Carpenter) Potts. She graduated from Odessa High School. Deborah worked as a supervisor for Action Products for 30 plus years, then worked for Higginsville habitat Center for four years. Deborah was united in marriage on May 22, 1987, to Samuel Thomas Galegor in Miami, Oklahoma. Along with spending time with family and friends, Deborah enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and international traveling.   Deborah is survived by her husband Samuel “Sam” Thomas Galegor; three step children, Samuel Thomas (Sandy) Galegor, Jr. of Peculiar, MO, David Keith (Marie Louise) Galegor of Tucson, AZ, and Stephen Douglas (Kimberly) Galegor of Raymore, MO; four grandchildren, Sunny Nicole Hibbs, Sean Michael Galegor, Bret Galegor and Erika Galegor; eight great grandchildren, Kade Hibbs, Kaiser Hibbs, Rayne Hibbs, Drayton Galegor, Easton Galegor, Bennett Galegor, Liberty Galegor, and Lincoln Galegor; one sister, Sandra (Roger) Bailey of Carl Junction, MO; and many nieces nephews, relatives, and friends.   Along with both her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by one stepson, Richard Allen Galegor; and two half-sisters, Betty Ellen Emanuel and Janice Marie Scott.

Debbie Wilson Galegor was a high school classmate. We graduated from Odessa, MO high school, 1971. Debbie was a quiet, friendly and a genuinely sweet person. I have not had connection w Debbie since high school, but she was a Blessing to our class.
