George William Galegor was born December 19,1950 in Columbia, Missouri and passed on July 8, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
George graduated from John Marshall High School in 1969 and served on enlistment in the U. S. Navy. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1973 and completed 26 years of service attaining the rank of Sergeant Major (E9).
George then worked for various power companies in California and Tennessee providing technical expertise for service and repairs on home & commercial generators.
In 2005, George and his wife Carolyn returned to Edmond, OK and opened a small business. In 2015, George retired and spent his time enjoying his coffee buddies and his family
George was preceded in death by his parents William B. & Majorie Ellen Galegor and sisters Paula and Debbie Galegor.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn of the home, son William B. Galegor and wife Rhonda of Jacksonville, FL. Son Joshua Galegor of Orange, Virginia. Brother Mike and wife Pat Galegor, sister Patti Galegor, Brother Steven and wife Chris Galegor. Numerous nieces and nephews. George had Six grand children and four great grand children.
Services will be Monday, July 15th at 3:00PM with Smith & Kernke Funeral Directors, 14624 N. May Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73134.
