Carl Lynn King

Carl Lynn King was born in El Reno on April 14, 1954, and passed away on February 2, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel R. and Pearl M. (Clovis) King; four brothers; and two sisters.

Carl is survived by his wife, Joyce, of the home; his son, Anthony, and wife Amanda; two granddaughters, Kherington and Kimber King; sisters Nancy, Mae, and Dorothy; niece Patricia Tippit; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

He graduated from John Marshall High School and joined the United States Marine Corps shortly after graduation. Carl proudly served in the USMC from 1972 to 1976. While stationed at El Toro Marine Corps Air Station in California, he met and married the love of his life, Joyce.

After his honorable discharge, Carl and Joyce moved to Oklahoma City, where they lived for six years before settling in Mustang. They spent the next 42 years there, raising their son, Anthony.

Carl was the owner of Carl's Plumbing, where he provided excellent service to his customers-many of whom became lifelong friends. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

In keeping with Carl's wishes, no service will be held. He will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and the love he shared with those closest to him.
